I used to live down the street when I was an undergrad at MIT a few years ago. I love that neighborhood, and remember that burger king. (I also lived there when the Necco factory was still operating) I went there with my boyfriend's family last year, and I couldn't get over the burger king thing, but I loved the food. Alex was in Boston Friday when you posted this, en route to a meeting in Newport. He called me that night and told me about dinner that night at Rendezvous! I wish I had gotten in touch with him earlier to suggest this off the menu :) Anyways-- this looks delicious!

It sort of depends on the pasta. I'd say 10 minutes or so, on medium/medium-high heat. Use nonstick and some oil and just watch it like a hawk. It should get more browned than in the photos above, and it puffs out a little bit since it's basically frying! Adjust the heat if it starts to scorch instead of toasting, but don't be afraid to let it get pretty dark in some spots.

Whoa, toasted pasta? I have never thought of that. How long did you toast it for? That looks really delicious, and a great way to use some of the insane amount of greens from my CSA!
