2lbs rutabagas, peeled and cut in 1-1/2 inch pieces
6 carrots, peeled and cut in 2-in pieces
1 onion, sliced
6 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
Boil veggies until tender.
Puree in food processor with remaining ingredients.
Note: can be made in advance and reheated on stove or in the oven.
