Welcome to the club. I added liquid to something cooking in the oven and voila. Broken glass and no dinner.

One never does it again. Actually one never cooks in Pyrex again is the real lesson.

Oh dear, glad you were out of harms way.
I use a wonderful old stone pan for my peppers -
I also love pyrex, but only for 350 -375 temps.
I will spread the word about pyrex-mania.

yup. It happened to me with a salmon filet. i had actually forgotten the occurance until your post.
